I love the idea to be able to create estimates without QB and also being able to turn the estimate into an invoice.

It should be clear on the order form exactly what info is client-facing: item description, fabrication price, fabric description, hardware description, etc. Currently, hardware desc/price and fabrication pricing breakdown are especially unclear

In a Project Detail to be able to see descriptions for all my items exactly as they would be in my estimate and see my pricing

I agree, but also want to add that it should have a "permissions" feature (turn on or turn off. If you have a new/bad employee you wouldn't want them to be able to do this until you trust them. The pretty images that we upload and the drawings of the drapery style / roman shade style, plus the fabric swatch and trim swatch. It's the pretty pictures that make people want to sign on the dotted line.

Display project price without having to create an estimate

Easily see the price of selected items at the top of the project page. This allows me to see if a project is coming in above or below my client's budget at a glance

This also eliminates manual calculations by having to go into each individual item to confirm the total project price OR having to generate the QB estimate in order to see the pricing totals. Maybe this could be a part of the 'preview' screen?
